TIRE COLLECTION EVENT

The Beaver County Conservation District’s Mosquito Vector Disease Program is hosting a tire collection at the district office and environmental center May 18-22, 2021. We have received a grant to allow us to assist residents with disposal of old car and light truck tires. In doing so we help clean up our communities and limit habitat for vectors such as mosquitoes, that can be a danger to public health.
The collection is open to Beaver County residents and is accepting car and light truck tires up to 20” off rim. Other tires and tires on rims will not be accepted!
This event is funded through the DEP West Nile Program. The cost is $1.50 per tire (up to a total of 600 tires) $4.00 a tire after the 600-tire limit is reached. Cash Only!
Event hours:
May 18-21 (Tuesday through Friday) 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
May 22 (Saturday) 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Please contact the office with any questions (724) 378-1701
