Public Notice

Dear Consumer;

You recently received a letter the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection required the Borough to send to you about water the Borough supplied. . The notification related to a failure of the Borough to timely submit  an assessment report concerning the condition of  water samples the Borough took.  The Borough wants to assure you:

1.      The water is safe to drink.
2.      The water was safe to drink back in July and September 2023.
3.      The Borough performed testing required by DEP which showed the water at all times was safe for public consumption.
4.      The Borough did not submit paperwork to DEP on time which required the Borough to issue the public notice.
