Sealed proposals shall be made on a form provided by the Borough of Monaca and may be obtained between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Municipal Building, 928 Pennsylvania Avenue, Monaca PA. Said form may also be obtained by clicking on the link “Jackson Avenue Property”  appearing on the Borough’s website at monacapa.net  .Sealed proposals shall be addressed and delivered to the Borough Manager, 928 Pennsylvania Avenue, Monaca, PA. 15061, and marked on the outside as follows:

           “Proposal for Purchase of “Jackson Avenue Property”

Sealed proposals will be received until 4:00 p.m. prevailing time, Friday, April 9, 2021 in the Borough Manager’s office. The proposals shall be publically opened and read aloud during the workshop meeting of the Town Council scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2021. A decision on the bid will be announced after review and at a public meeting of Council.

Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid security bond in the amount of 5% of the bid, as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured.

The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive certain requirements when such action proves to be advantageous to the Borough.
