ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The Borough of Monaca, Beaver County, Pennsylvania will accept sealed bids at the Office of the Borough Manager, 928 Pennsylvania Avenue, Pennsylvania, 15061 until 3:00 PM prevailing time, Friday June 24, 2022, for the

Borough of Monaca 2022 Paving Project

Plans, specifications and bid documents are available only via download from the Widmer Engineering web site at: widmerengineering.com under bids. All questions concerning this solicitation must be sent via email to monacapaving@widmerengineering.com no later than (5) five days prior to the due date.

All work must be completed in 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP).  Contractors must be PennDOT pre-qualified for all paving items.

Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank check, money order or bidder surety bond in the amount specified in instructions to bidders.

Bids will be opened publicly by the Borough Manager on the date and hour set above.  

The minimum wage rates for each craft or classification of all workmen needed to perform this contract during the anticipated term hereof shall be governed by State Prevailing Wage Rates.

The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the best interest of the Borough.
