Community Center

The Community Center is the former CJ Mangin Elementary School, Monaca Junior High School and the Monaca High School. The Building was aquired from the Central Valley School District for $1. The Borough of Monaca plan to use the facility as a multi purpose community center.

The gym and auditorium is being use by Central Valley Youth Wrestling, Central Valley Fast Pitch Softball and The Monaca Youth Baseball  League is purchasing and installing a batting cage net to put in the

The Monaca Volunteer Community Outreach group sponsor the first annual Christkindlmarkt at the Center. The MVCO and other organizations will be sponsoring programs.

The building in the future will be home the the Monaca Emergency Operations Center and the Monaca Public Library.  

We will also working with the American Red Cross in providing temporary warming and cooling shelter. We will provide more information as it comes available.
